Class Descriptions

We offer customized massage options to suit your unique needs. Using your preference in pressure to promote ease in the muscles, ligaments and fascia (connective tissue).  Massage increases circulation, relieves stress and anxiety and aids in overall wellbeing.  Your licensed massage therapist (LMT) will work with you to build a session tailored to your healing and self-care.

Massage can also be beneficial for those who have experienced trauma. Research shows that emotional and physical trauma leave aftershocks in the body that can result in a vast range of physical ailments and disorders. Digestive disorders, chronic pain, sleep disorders, and headaches are just a few symptoms of trauma stored in the body.

Additionally, those who experience prolonged or repeated traumatic events tend to be in a state of hyper-vigilance. This “fight or flight” status can lead to tight muscles and fascia that bring pain.

Regular massage can help release trauma that has been stored in the body.
